Can it create real PivotTables?

openpyxl cannot create native PivotTables, so it builds pivot-style summaries with SUMIFS/COUNTIFS and gives you the one-click steps if you want a native pivot.

Will it change my original file?

No. It works on a copy and returns a new file; every changed cell is highlighted and logged.

Does it handle macros?

It preserves .xlsm macros but does not audit VBA code.

Why do some formulas show no value at first?

Python writes formulas but does not calculate them. Open the file in Excel (or it can recalculate with LibreOffice) to compute values.
